Uniquely positioned as the only ballet school in New York City that offers a comprehensive dance curriculum, the Joffrey Ballet School provides rigorous training in classical ballet, which encompasses technique, pointe, variations, adagio, and men's classes. The program also includes contemporary ballet and various other disciplines such as modern dance, character work, choreography, dance history, music appreciation, Pilates, and yoga. To further enrich the training experience, guest faculty conduct specialized workshops. Notably, all dance classes benefit from live piano accompaniment, with live cello and percussion enhancing select contemporary and modern sessions.
